10 vocational training courses for young people
The young people cared for by the Village Pilote association follow a complete apprenticeship programme, giving them all the keys they need to enter the world of work when they reach working age.
In addition to literacy and maths as part of the “core curriculum”, ten vocational training courses are provided at the Lac Rose Welcome Centre so that the young people can specialise.

Core curriculum: literacy and maths
From an early age, the young people of Village Pilote integrate the “core curriculum” consisting of:
- literacy classes
- learning mathematics
- introductory sessions to the various training courses offered at the Lac Rose Village Pilote
Professional training
After the core curriculum, young people choose a specialisation from among the vocational courses on offer, which they will study for 2 years:
- organic market gardening
- masonry
- bricklaying
- sewing
- electricity
- woodwork
- collective catering
- sports and cultural careers
Professional integration
After completing their training, young people are supported by our corporate partners to help them enter the world of work and become financially independent:onomisation financière :
- help with finding a job
- work placements and initial work experience with our corporate partners
- monitoring young people entering the job market

The solidarity shop
Development of a solidarity shop featuring handicrafts made by our young people in vocational training (carpentry, sewing, food processing).
Structuring sports and arts training courses
Many of our young people are heading for careers in sport and/or the arts. We want to structure our training for these professional projects (circus, rugby, gymnastics, plastic arts, music, etc.).
